Another name confirmed on Big Brother Brasil is singer and actress Linn da Quebrada. The participant was announced during Big Day, during breaks in Globo’s programming, on Friday (14). At 31, she is a multimedia artist. “Cultural agitator, singer, actress, presenter and a few other things”, she says.
The artist emerged in music in 2017, with the instant hit “Enviadescer”. She explores her body through words, creating sound and making noise. Find out more about the sister below.
Who is Linn da Quebrada?
Linn was born in the capital of São Paulo, but grew up in the interior of the state. She began her artistic career as a performer, and, as a teenager, she was also a hairdresser’s assistant. Her first original song of her career, titled “Enviadescer”, was released in 2016. Soon after, other successful singles came.
In 2019, she debuted as an actress in the TV Globo series ‘Segunda Chamada’, playing Natasha and is the presenter of the program ‘TransMissão’, on Canal Brasil.
In cinema, he starred in the award-winning documentary “Bixa Travesty”, in which he recounts his journey of confronting machismo and various forms of transphobia. It was with this project that she won the Teddy Awards for Best Foreign Documentary, in Berlin.

Career
In work and life, she is also known for her social activism in favor of minorities. In fact, Linn says that she really enjoys writing and her compositions have an important objective: “I sing with the intention of hearing what I haven’t heard before. And I am an exception. The vast majority of transvestites do not have the possibility of working, acting, or having dignity in society.”
In 2017, she created crowdfunding to produce her debut album, “Pajubá”, and the campaign exceeded its goal. Furthermore, Linn has already performed with Glória Groove, Karol Conká and ‘As Baías’.
Her debut as an actress was in “Segunda Chamada”, an original Globoplay series, and she won the Teddy Awards for Best Foreign Documentary, in Berlin, with the documentary about her life called “Bixa Travesty”.
At the beginning of 2021, she had silicone implants and cried with emotion when she felt free. At the beginning of this year, the singer managed to include her social name in the documentation and started signing Lina Pereira dos Santos.
Finally, Linn also said that he has already won the math Olympiad and a scholarship to a private school.
Personal life
Linn da Quebrada faced testicular cancer in 2014, at the age of 23 and was completely cured just three years later, in 2017. The singer was a Jehovah’s Witness until the age of 17 and began her career as a performer, launching her musical career as MC Linn of Quebrada.
Expelled from the congregation when she began to understand more about her sexuality, she found art as her way of reconnecting. “I had a very orthodox, but also very wonderful, religious education. A lot of what I developed in oral and speaking skills I learned in church,” she told gshow.

Linn wants to live the full participant experience, as a good BBB fan. Furthermore, she already says that she wants to dance a lot at parties and do her best in the endurance tests.
“I’m really going to win, I feel like it’s possible. I hear Tadeu speaking the final speech. But even winning has a trajectory… It will be the most iconic experience of my life. I will do very well in the tests. I like competing,” said the sister about her participation in the reality show.
If the reality show wins, the prize of R$1.5 million already has its destination.
“I want to buy a house. It seems so simple, but it is very gigantic. I want to provide a more comfortable old age for my mother, be able to pay for a health plan for her and be a little more at peace. I also want to have continuity, adopt a child.”
