We are a website based in Rio de Janeiro, but you have already noticed that we have content from all over the world and above all, from São Paulo, a city we love and go to frequently. However, with the new coronavirus pandemic, we didn’t have the chance to take the air shuttle this year. Therefore, we asked friends who understand the subject to tell us which are the best deliveries in São Paulo, by gastronomy influencers. Also read about the resumption of flights in Europe, the risks of traveling by plane now in Brazil and Claude Troisgros’ new restaurants.

I Like Bar
“What a messy treat this Tacos Night box from @megusta.bar is. Crispy and soft tacos, marinated fish, shredded ham, sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, corn vinaigrette, pickles, pepper sauce and spicy mayonnaise. Everything comes inside the box with suggested combinations and even tips on how to put together your taco in a cool way. It serves three people and in addition to the proteins I chose, there is also the option of onioned jackfruit. I highly recommend it to give a change to this meal. indoor that never ends.”

“I’m crazy about Japanese food and the delivery from Imakay, a Nikkei restaurant (fusion of Peru and Japan), in Itaim, is beautiful, colorful and delicious. Rolled salmon sushi with avocado, covered in tuna, wakame seaweed and salmon roe, as well as hot dishes. Furthermore, I recommend the Arroz de Chaufa with prawns, octopus, soft egg and sour cream which arrives home super fragrant.”

Evvai
“Delivery for that special quarantine day that you want most is a nice treat: that of the star Evvai. On the menu, some of the dishes created by chef Luiz Filipe, such as, for example, this Fregola cooked in smoked scallop broth, confit tomatoes and octopus. While at Mercato Evvai, through iFood, products from small entrepreneurs are sold, used in the preparation of the restaurant’s dishes. For dessert, I loved the native bee honey bread, which comes with a icing of honeycombthat delicious crunchy honey.”

Boto Restaurant
”The kind of food that motivates me, by chef Leo Botto. Owner of a respectable CV, with stints at places such as, for example, Spot, Julia Cocina (where he cooked with Paola Crosella), Gero, La Frontera and the Chez group (of which he was also a partner), Botto opened his first own place with a original menu based on fire. Unusual menu, creative combinations that combine affectionate ingredients with notes of sophistication and boldness. The tips are the Pastrami Sandwich with Levain Bread, Pastrami, Cucumber Pickles and Mayonnaise. Everything made in house (R$ 34). For an additional R$8.00, it comes with a portion of incredibly tasty chips.
As well as Arroz Moquém with Angus contra, and fried egg. A rice rich in flavors. The kind you want to eat every day (R$52). I just wanted to try the purple potato pie, an icon of the house that is a huge success.

“Chef Mariana Fonseca brought, through the Fotiamyk restaurant, the cooking of Greek foods over a fire, as happened in ancient Greek taverns, highlighting the flavors through a healthy preparation. Fotiamyk is the chef’s jewel and was chosen by Veja SP as the best Greek and is certainly my favorite. The dishes are rich in flavor, with lots of herbs and fresh vegetables. From the grill, meat, seafood and vegetables come out and, in addition, there are good options of salads and mezzes to accompany, such as, for example, grilled eggplant with macadamia nuts. The salads were very well served, with perfectly cooked meat and lots of side dishes to share.
Delivery is working at full speed and the dishes arrive exactly as they do at the restaurant. The lentil and feta cheese salad is colored by pomegranate seeds and tomatoes (R$ 45.00). Among the garnishes, there are mixed mushrooms sautéed with cheese (R$ 65.00). Happy ending: mascarpone cheese cream with grilled red fruits (R$ 65.00). Real food, healthy food. Therefore, a true explosion of flavors in the comfort of your home.”

Koji Japanese Restaurant
”If you love Japanese cuisine, you will love this restaurant! The chef’s freshness and knowledge of fish will make your experience unique. Koji started with delivery so its clientele had the chance to taste chef Koji Yokomizo’s dishes at home. Orders can be made at Ifood, which delivers within a 7 km radius, or via Whats App 11 9 3034-5454, within a 4 km radius of the Estádio do Morumbi unit. The highlight of the delivery is the Combo section, which serves one or two people, such as, for example, the Varied Moriwase: seven sashimis, five Niguiris, one Dyo, four Baterás and four Uramakis (R$ 110). For lunch, the executive entitles you to 20 pieces of assorted sushi and sashimi, worth R$82.00 per person.”

Japanese – Tata Sushi
“Without a doubt, today Tata Sushi is one of the best japanese restaurants modern city. Their delivery arrives with an impeccable presentation in the boxes. It feels like you are eating in the restaurant itself. Besides, what I like most is the variety of fish and the quality of the sushi!”
Small restaurant
“For Italian, this is certainly one of the restaurants we miss most during this quarantine, because when you go there it feels like you are eating at home, the service is so welcoming! The restaurant is run by the couple Ricardo and Marcia and all the affection they have there is also visible in the delivery. The boxes the food comes in look like a gift, they’re so beautiful. The ingredients come separately, for example, lasagna, the house’s signature dish, arrives with all the separate elements, the sauces, the toasts, the olive oil, for you to assemble at home. Tip, order the pistachio pudding for dessert, you will certainly fall in love.”
QT Pizza Bar, one of the best deliveries in São Paulo
“In São Paulo you can’t miss a great pizza, right? We fell in love with the round ones at QT Pizza bar, the dough is naturally fermented, the toppings are wonderful, especially the truffle pizza and the Mortadella with pistachio, two must-orders! Oh, and besides that, and look how cool it is: there you can also order one of the house’s ready-made drinks and drink it as if you were in their bar!”
