Opened in 2021, the elegant Japanese restaurant in Lisbon is at the Ritz Galleries, which have been completely refurbished. The menu, prepared by chef Miguel Teixeira, combines Asian and Latin American influences, such as shrimp tempura in panko and almond, with truffle sauce. There are also rolls, nigiris and uramakis, as well as meats and fish.

20 minutes from Lisbon is Cascais, a charming Portuguese village, much sought after by Brazilians. And the newest restaurant in Cascais is Maré, by the renowned chef José Avillez, which has seafood focus and a beautiful view in Guincho Beach.
