Glass cake recipe
Ingredients
- 20g unflavored gelatin powder
- 120 ml of water
- 300g glucose powder (sold in cooking supply stores)
- 300g of sugar
- 150 ml of water
- 200 ml condensed milk
- 300g melted white chocolate bar
- Food coloring
How to make
To start, you will need to dissolve the gelatin powder in 120 ml of water. Now, in a pan, boil the glucose, sugar and 150 ml of water. After that, take the pan off the stove and add the gelatin. Add the condensed milk and stir well until everything is mixed. Pour over the melted chocolate and use an electric mixer to remove air bubbles. Now you need to add the dye in the color you want to ensure the glass-like effect.
Now you need to finish the shine, with the cake chilled, as hot cakes can melt the mixture. Place the chilled cake on a rack with a pan underneath, pour the mixture into it and let it drain and dry. At the end, just remove the grill, place it on a cake platform and decorate however you want.
