Grape Tabbouleh with Yogurt Sauce

Sauces and Salads

Today I’m going to give you a wonderful recipe from my mother that was a hit on Dad’s birthday Saturday and could be a hit on your Christmas. Super refreshing, light and tasty! You know those recipes that everyone asks you for after trying them? This is one of them!

For the Salad:
1 and 1/2 cups of cooked wheat grains;
4 tomatoes;
3 Japanese cucumbers;
1 large onion;
1 cup of chopped mint tea;
1 cup of Italy grapes, cut in half without seeds;
2 apples (one red and one green).

Mom put the tomatoes, cucumber and onion, apples and mint in the processor. In a large container she added the grapes and wheat. Those who don’t have a processor really shoot the knife.

For the sauce (it was missing in the photo):
1 cup of cream or to be thinner use Tirolez ricotta cream;
1 cup of natural yogurt;
Salt and season to taste.

The dressing can be mixed into the salad or served separately. Delicious and refreshing salad!

Have a great Jingle Bells week for you kids!!!
