Who is Vini, from BBB 22? Meet the Big Brother Brasil participant

The list of Big Brother Brasil 22 participants is now available, and many are already curious to find out everything about each of them. Among them, one of them certainly caught attention: popcorn member Vinicius entertains and attracts attention wherever he goes. Without mincing words and ready to give his all, he received the announcement last Friday (14), during Big Day. Vinicius likes to arrive exuding joy wherever he is. In this sense, he assumes that he attracts attention everywhere he goes. “Wherever I arrive I’m already attracting everyone’s attention.” Furthermore, he also states that he will not be afraid to be truthful during the program. “I’m a real person, I don’t care about disguising happiness.” The participant was the first in the popcorn group to reach the 1 million follower mark. The feat occurred less than 24 hours after its announcement on the program.

All the names of the BBB 22 members were announced during breaks in Globo’s programming last Friday (14), as well as on social media. The most talked about reality show in Brazil is directed by Rodrigo Dourado, genre directed by Boninho and presented by Tadeu Schmidt. It premieres today, on the night of the 17th.

Who is Vinicius?

Marcos Vinicius Fernandes de Souza, or Vyni, as they usually call him, is 23 years old and is from Crato, in the Cariri region, in Ceará. The young man lives with his father, maternal grandmother and aunt in a family pension in his city. With a degree in Law, he is a public exam candidate, but currently works on the internet. He became known for sharing his life as a “low-income influencer”, something that amuses many. In this sense, he has even commented on: “My face reveals that I am poor”, as he often jokes.

An influencer has been a very dedicated person for as long as we can remember. In this sense, he has sold sweets, given private lessons, been a monitor at a public school and even sang at wakes. Despite having a law degree, he does not intend to practice law. In addition to his internet career, he works in the family restaurant, and videos on social media serve as extra income. According to him, telling sad stories are his tools to create humor.

Vinicius went viral on the internet after recording a video complaining about the lack of water in Crato, the municipality where he lives. The video gained many views after being shared by comedian Tirulipa from Ceará. Before that, things were different. “I show the reality of the things that happen in life, I don’t show luxury, travel and wealth. People identified with this, they liked it and I followed this path. In the beginning, we managed to close some partnerships. But then it became rare.” Thus, after the video, he accumulated 40 thousand followers.

Personal life

Since he was little, Vyni was messy and there was no shortage of visits to the principal’s office at his school every time he got into trouble. On the other hand, he was always a very hard-working student, and got excellent grades. Before being selected for the BBB, Vinicius tried to pass a public exam. And upon learning that he would be inside the house, he cried a lot, hugging his grandmother, his “mother”, his father and his two aunts. He even joked: “I’m damp.”

His grandmother, or mother, as she usually calls him, was the one who packed his suitcase to enter the reality show, taking great care to put his clothes well pressed and his grandson’s lip gloss. She even reminded her of all the items she would need while away from home. Vinicius and his grandmother are extremely close. The woman was the one who raised him, and since he was little, he shared his bed with her. Likewise, after his grandfather passed away, he took care of his grandmother. “There is nothing greater than this love. I’m going to miss it very much”, he commented about his mother.

And it was in his grandmother that he found support after coming out as homosexual. “Since I was a child, I already knew I was different. While the boys went to play ball, I stayed at home watching Xuxa. I never had the desire or desire to kiss a girl”, reflected Vyni. This meant that she had to deal, from a very early age, with the pain of prejudice. “I have suffered a lot of attacks for being effeminate: physical and verbal. On the street I always heard derogatory comments. It’s the kind of thing that never stops.”

Vinicius’ love life

In this sense, when talking about love, Vinicius says he is an Aquarius man who falls in love very easily. However, he points out that he also falls out of love at the same speed. When asked about being single, he already has an answer on the tip of his tongue. “Single is very strong, I’m abandoned, flying below the radar, unnoticed, but I haven’t closed my heart, no! I’m receiving a resume. I hope I find someone to kiss inside the house”, he says, amusing everyone.

Social media career

Used to producing humorous content on his social networks, the Ceará native has even recorded a video simulating what his interview would be like if he had joined BBB 21. Now, a year later, he has been confirmed in the popcorn group for the reality show. In the video, Vyni captioned it: “Did they forget to announce me on BBB 21??”

First of all, in his playful interview, the future brother answers some common questions asked to participants. “My love, to be honest, my goal is just to make money. Because people come here with stories that ‘want to challenge themselves, I don’t know what’, I didn’t come here to challenge myself because a big challenge is already my life normally”, he pretends, with all his true sincerity.

In the publication, many are currently congratulating the young man for finally joining the program. And regarding the R$1.5 million prize, he also joked: “The stroke is certain. I won’t even have time to take the opportunity to thank you. I’m going to sleep, because here no one sleeps at night; It’s the fan breaking, it’s the burning heat, it’s the muriçocas sucking you in, the bills worrying you. When I wake up, I’ll grab the first topic I have and leave.”

Message to Felipe Neto

Regarding Vinicius’s life on the internet, youtuber Felipe Neto published, last Friday (14), messages sent to him by his future brother, back in 2017. Vyni made contact after his college class suffered a scam from a graduation parties. However, Felipe only viewed the messages 5 years later. “I really wanted to know if his class managed to graduate and if they managed to catch the scammers who stole their money”, published the YouTuber.

At the time, the case was reported by G1, after the students filed a police report against the company. Therefore, the establishment declared that they had interrupted the service due to the 2017 economic crisis.

“With a lot of effort and sacrifice, we paid monthly, for five years, a financial quota to a company so that it could hold our nostalgia class, our ecumenical event and our long-awaited graduation ball. During these 5 years, we delivered the company an amount of R$ 170,000.00. Not to mention the extra expenses with passwords, clothes, souvenirs”, wrote Vinicius in his message to Felipe Neto.
