The China World Summit Wing is located in a building called World Trade Center China, very well located. What was my surprise when I discovered that this building is the tallest in Beijing, with 82 floors! A truly incredible construction, which provided us with unbelievable urban views! They even organize a vertical race up the hotel stairs, how funny is that?

But contrary to what you might think, the elevator reaches the top floor quickly. In fact, it goes straight to the 64th floor, where the reception is for you to check in. The hotel’s environments are all spacious and with contemporary decor, without letting us forget that we are in the East.

The rooms

My room, in the executive category, was very spacious, including a small room, with armchairs to relax and a work desk. The bed king size, With a 300 thread count sheet, it was very comfortable and the view was jaw-dropping. Highlight for the bathroom, all in marble, my favorite place to take photos. I couldn’t resist posing with Beijing at my feet. I thought this bathtub was great!

Conclusion

My doubts about where to stay in Beijing ended when I checked into the China World Summit Wing, a sophisticated and well-located hotel with great service. Taking into account that we are in a country very different from what we are used to, it is important to know that the staff speak good English and are willing to help.

The concierges helped us a lot, both in deciding which tours to take, and even asking for Uber – there, ours doesn’t work, it has to be the Chinese Uber. And once in Beijing, of course we have to visit the big attraction, which is the Forbidden City and the Wall of China, which you can read about here in this post.

Furthermore, the hotel is strategically located in the heart of Beijing’s commercial and financial district. It is also close to the old city center, where you will find traditional neighborhoods and diverse markets. Important point when you are looking for where to stay in Beijing!

Communication there is not easy, in general, people don’t speak English. The country has an eccentric culture in our opinion, but this makes the trip even more interesting. Go with an open mind and heart and remember that you are the visitor and just passing through. I loved it!
