Beauty

Pimples are inflammations that can leave dark spots on the skin. Check out ways to treat and even avoid these inconvenient marks.

Certainly, acne is a super uncomfortable inflammation, but the situation can get worse if it is not treated properly, leaving spots and scars on the skin. Sometimes, these marks are the result of squeezing and popping pimples, accompanied by a lack of basic skin care.

Basically, when a pimple is squeezed, the skin in the region is injured and the melanin in that area is stimulated, which leaves marks on the epidermis. Although this is the main reason, factors such as unprotected exposure to the sun and hormonal changes can cause or worsen the appearance of pimples.

However, the good news is that these marks can be treated and even avoided. As for treatment, there are options and homemade recipes for skin whitening or aesthetic treatments carried out by professionals.

However, regardless of how you decide to treat pimple spots, it is extremely important to consult a dermatologist beforehand. Only a professional can instruct you on the correct use of certain products and ingredients, the quantity and how to apply them to the skin safely.

Beforehand, to prevent pimple spots, a proper skincare routine and daily use of sunscreen are essential. This is because the healthy and beautiful appearance of the skin depends on good hydration and nutrition, combined with a healthy eating routine, rich in vitamin E and A.

Firstly, sunscreen must be used regularly and without fail. Even indoors or on cloudy days, as both lights and sunlight can cause stains. In this sense, skin hydration is also essential, as it reduces the risk of new spots appearing and prevents old ones from getting worse. One last tip is to always avoid squeezing blackheads and whiteheads, as this habit is one of the main causes of pimple blemishes.

Finally, follow-up with a dermatologist regarding blemishes on the skin resulting from pimples should be a priority. Because, as mentioned previously, inappropriate use or poor handling of whitening products can worsen the skin situation. Therefore, do not use any product without medical advice and remember that the best option is to see a dermatologist.
