
Banana is a fruit that we never lack here at home, but it spoils quickly and as I hate throwing food away, I always make a sweet treat. This time I used 4 sliced dwarf bananas, 1/3 cup of organic crystal sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, a pinch of cinnamon and 2 cloves. I put everything together over low heat, stirring until the banana dissolved and acquired a golden color. You can fill or cover cakes, serve with white cheese (I love it), with pancakes, toast, a thousand uses!
