Bis pie recipe
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1 box of Bis
- 1 and 1/2 can of milk (use condensed milk to measure)
- 1 can of condensed milk (learn how to make vegan condensed milk)
- 1 box of chopped Bis for sprinkling and decorating
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 excited
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 200 g chopped semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 can of cream
- 2 pasteurized egg whites
Preparation mode
- First, let’s prepare the base of our Bis pie. Therefore, start by grinding the chocolates with 1 tablespoon of butter in the processor or blender until you form a kind of bis crumbs.
- Then, in a mold with a removable bottom, line the bottom with the bis flour and set aside.
- For the cream we will mix the milk, condensed milk, cornstarch, two egg yolks and a tablespoon of butter.
- Place in a pan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Turn off the heat and let the cream cool.
- Then, with the cold cream, pour it over the Bis base, sprinkle half of the chocolates and set aside.
- For the mousse, melt the chocolate in the microwave and mix in the cream until smooth. Reserve.
- Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with a mixer until soft peaks form.
- Add the sugar and beat again until firm.
- Add the chocolate cream mixing well.
- Pour into the pan over the other layers.
- Refrigerate for at least two hours before unmolding.
- Finally, decorate with chopped Bis on top and you can serve this delicious pie.
Bis pie preparation tips
- It is essential that the pie is very cold and firm when unmolding. So, don’t forget to wait at least two hours, but the ideal would be 4 hours in the fridge.
- You can use the Bis you like best. In this recipe, dark chocolate was used, but if you prefer, you can also use white chocolate Bis.
- Another option for making this pie is to place the cookies filling the side of the removable pan. If you choose this way, a tip is to alternate white Bis and black Bis to make your pie even more beautiful.
