Location
Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine is 32 km from Valladolid and 26 km from Peñafiel. Valladolid Airport is located 50 km from the property. However, the car journey from Madrid is very easy and takes around two hours.

According to the website, the hotel looked beautiful, but nothing comparable to the sumptuous place you arrive in real life: a 12th century monastery that underwent a six-year renovation until it became luxury hotel in Spain. What’s more, it is amidst a stunning landscape of one of the most important vineyards in the country. Certainly an unforgettable experience.

When strolling through vineyards, we are immediately transported to the time when monks were already dedicated to winemaking, which makes the place even more magical. We even came across a gigantic tree over 200 years old, in the midst of the cultivation of tempranillos, chiraz, cabernets and merlots.
