For gastronomy, the hotel has The Regency Bar & Grill, a typically American restaurant with a variety of dishes and which is also open for breakfast and lunch. The Carlyle
Opened in the 1930s, the Carlyle remains to this day a reference in hospitality location, and is just a few blocks from Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum and next to the Whitney Museum. In the lobby, elegant and renovated a few years ago, there is the restaurant of the same name, where breakfast is served. and which is also open for lunch and dinner. The rooms are not very big, but they have a beautiful view of the city. The hotel also has a spa with a beauty salon and gym.

As it is a tradition in NY that has managed to renew itself, The Carlyle is one of the best hotels for people watching, that is, observing the movement of people, in this case, famous people, who are always walking around there. Renovated last year, it has an atmosphere quiet cozy, and specializes in culture farm to table, very common in the USA, in literal translation, from “farm to table”. The Rotunda, the hotel’s lounge, was restored last year and features beautiful hand-painted murals.

Originally opened in 1926 as a hotel residence, the Surrey is a reference when it comes to luxury, and has hosted important figures such as John F. Kennedy and Bette Davis. With a great location, close to several shops and museums, the hotel has impeccable but always discreet service. The only Relais&Chateaux in the city has ideally sized rooms with a small lounge to relax in.
