Important information about the event

Next month, Italian chef Maura Pismataro says goodbye to her passage in Brazil. For 30 days she dedicated herself to teaching the nuances of Italian gastronomy mixed with the Brazilian particularities that her family carries. Likewise, as part of this cycle’s closure, the next events will be held as part of the 22nd anniversary of Osteria Della Colombina, in Garibaldi – RS.

Culinary classroom with Italian chef

Chef Maura Pismataro will meet chef Odete Bettú Lazzari with recipes from immigration cuisine. The Brazil-Italy Workshop will offer a link between the food industry and the culture, history, habits and traditions culled from emotional recipes! Also, you will have tasted two elaborate dishes harmonized with the house wines.

Quem é a chef Maura Pismataro?

Currently working as a gastronomic chef and culinary professor in Rome for Brazilians, Italian chef Maura Pismataro has a strong connection with our country. Before she was born, her family, both Italians, met in São Paulo and decided to return to Italy, leaving behind a large family in Brazil.

Isso fez as Maura since cedo learned to speak fluent Portuguese and dedicated herself to uniting Italian gastronomy with the Brazilian particularities inherited from her avó. In her newly released book, The Dried Figs of Vovó Lina, she shares 100 recipes from her family, telling stories, travels, the secrets of her ancestral cuisine and more!
