Recently, comedian Whindersson Nunes, 26, made an outburst that left many fans curious. After his appearance at Farofa da Gkay, influencer Gkay’s birthday party, last Tuesday night (7), Whindersson spoke about a detail of his life. According to him, his professional life was suffocating his personal life. Through a text, he even reflected on ending his career for good.
On the other hand, on his Instagram, Whindersson did not fail to post several photos enjoying Gkay’s party. Last Wednesday night (8), in addition to the photos, he analyzed his life. Thus, in the text, he begins: “Yesterday everyone who met me said ‘are you at a party????? That’s it’, and every person who said that I thought ‘damn, I really deserve to enjoy it’.”
He continued talking about his obligations: “It’s been almost 10 years of saying no to every party, every birthday, every baptism. In the last 2 years, I even stopped watching TV, to focus less on the emotions that things like going on TV cause me and focus on my work. I’m the godfather of almost 100 children and I haven’t seen half of them. I think a lot of people might find me insensitive. But my belief in where I would get to was always stronger than me and I don’t know how to explain it.”
Whindersson Nunes vents about the weight of obligations
Furthermore, Whindersson also made many reflections in his text, mainly about his trajectory. “You might think it’s Saturn’s alignment with Uranus or something. Going out really demands a lot of physical energy, yesterday I took SO many photos, and someone always assumes ‘it’s cool, right, you can’t enjoy it’, I like it, I don’t mind what I asked God for. When I prayed I asked for 3 things. That older people would call me sir, that a man twice my size would tremble close to me and that He would close my body.”
Finally, the comedian also spoke about the fact that even though he has changed the lives of many fans, he is considering retirement soon. “Every person who arrives tells me a moment in which I was a turning point in their life. (…) Maybe I’ll work for another 2 years and stop, and I’ll definitely do something really cool to come back because I know myself, to get you to say ‘ah, now, this cool stuff!’”.
In this sense, Whindersson also took a moment to praise Gkay’s party, citing her friend in her text. “I had a great time here @gessicakayane, I was very well received and very well treated by everyone, everything was beautiful, it felt like a Multishow awards show, to everyone I knew up close, who I only saw online, it was great to be with you !”.
