  1. If you're having a difficult time losing weight and are diabetic or have some other metabolic issues, don't give up, even if you aren't losing at all! Keep at it. For me (i don't recommend) i chose not to medicate, so my blood sugar stayed high, making it even harder. But i kept it up, learned a lot of these tips, and now my blood sugar is staying 105 and under! It took me 8 months to get there, so don't give up okay?

  2. Just found you today. Most of the things you spoke here resonates with me. I was keto for over five years as I had constant stomach pain and to make a long story short, we found keto thanks to God as we had desperately called out to Him as the doctors didn't know what was wrong. After going keto my stomach pain went within a few days. It was gluten intolerance and other problems went too. Now I am low carb and mainly eat lot's of veges and fish. Sometimes I have meat and chicken.I had kidney problems and cutting down on dairy and meat has made my kidney function go back to normal and of course thanks to God.I had kidney tumors and they are gone too praise God

  3. Hi, I love your video, honest and real…my husband and I started alternate fasting last week, going dinner to dinner…based on advice from a different video. My husband is much more overweight than me, and he lost 6 lb. I on the other hand did not loose anything. Suggestions? I did a complete clean fast…although I did put sweetener in my tea. We do not eat keto during our eating window, and I think for me that’s where I need to go. Thanks for your videos, very helpful.

  4. If I eat low carb or no carb I cant stay on the diet so no diet will work unless you can stay on it/ I can intermit fast eating 12 to 8 and I can cut carbs.

  5. I've lost 28 kg in 1 year and now 4 kg from my ideal weight.
I am 58 years old and losing weight is not difficult even when you get older.
I am full carnivore and it works for me.

  6. thanks for the video.
i am more of a omad person, looking in to doing it every other day.
Rule #1 – do what works for you

  7. Did you use creamer or Heavy whipping cream in your coffee on your fasting days? Ive been using Heavy whipping cream on my fasting days and I am wondering if it hurting me since the calories may be hindering me from entering Autophagy. Ive been doing ADF for 18 weeks and I have lost 58 poubds so far, Started 358 now 300. Thanks for the great content

  8. Hey, I am curious about what foods should you introduce to your digestive system after a 36h fast?
Do I have to be afraid of "Refeeding Syndrome"? Or is it more of a concern when you are approaching a 72h mark?

I am a fairly healthy Individual, just highly obese.
I don't suffer from any chronic diseases and I am planning to stick to your take on the "Alternative day fasting".

  9. Hello…I’ve started ADF almost 4 weeks ago. I’m not tracking. I am not doing low carb. I haven’t lost weight. I don’t think I’ve lost much body fat either. My clothes are a tad looser though. Should I do a low carb diet to help with fat loss? I find it hard when I need to restrict myself on feast days. Fasting is easy for me even when I eat carbs the day before.

  10. You when you do a 24 or 36 hour fast that is the HARDEST TIME OF FASTING — literally after 36 48 hours of fasting you are no longer hunger. So you set up a fasting routine for the 10 or 12 day fast and you lose at least a pound a day and maybe more — and you don't feel hungry. When you choose to end the fast at 12 days it is because you want to not because you are starving or anything. Giving your body this break from eating and allowing it to repair itself and getting rid of all of the toxicity in your body is like cleaning your fish tank.

  11. How do you take in so much water. I have been fasting on and off since 2022. Been consistent so far this year. However I have always struggled with drinking water. I find it a lot easier when I fast without drinking water (dry) but I'm worried I'm ruining my metabolism. What do I do?

  12. did you binge ate when you were at your highest weight. did you crave the refined carbs at the beginning? How did you overcome this?

  13. This was an excellent description of ADF….the best I’ve heard, regarding receding….which is. Wry important also….thank you

  14. I have never lost 160lbs , I need to lose 50 max. … if it is also time to start exercising, complex carbs are much more sustainable than these imitation breads that cost a lot. Sweet potato, only boiled potatoes, brown rice, wild rice, old fashioned oats, carrots and beets(have fiber). Basically, low glycemic index carbs are necessary to fuel performance.

  15. I'm doing the low carb but also I'm adding in carnival. But when I eat cheeseburgers which I love and when I eat chili dogs which I love. I have to have the bread. Can you speak to that? What is your recommendation on how to deal with it?

  16. Great start!!! Just so you know – You don't need fiber at all.

Also, people with lower cholesterol have a higher amount of heart attacks. Please do some research on it! I have plenty of heart surgeons and docs I can share with you who can tell you all about it!

It is about the TYPE of cholesterol you have in your body, not the amount. Get a CAC test. THAT matters … And HDL/TRYGLICERIDE RATIO matters!

    God bless your journey!💜✝️💜💃🏻

  17. I’ve lost 17 pounds this month by fasting. I’m almost under 300 again. I’m a very tall woman, probably need to lose another 80-100. Im excited. Thank you.

  18. You truly are the best at motivating us to follow suit. I certainly appreciate that. You’ve been in the trenches with us and know how to dig yourself out. I am at the beginning of my journey and I’ll check back in when I’ve lost the weight.

  19. Do you have any information about how hormones affect fasting for women? I have seen content about how fasting for women is harder because of our cycles

  20. So glad I found your channel. Just getting ready to start ADF, have been fasting 16 -20 hours inconsistently, but still eating garbage when I eat. Love this statement, "Fast as clean as you can but as dirty as you need to."
