Ingredients

  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 4 cups of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of watermelon juice
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 3 eggs

Preparation mode

  1. First, in the mixer, beat the egg whites and set aside.
  2. Still in the mixer, beat the sugar, margarine and egg yolk for about 3 minutes.
  3. Then add the wheat flour and watermelon juice and continue beating until a homogeneous dough forms.
  4. Then, add the egg whites and baking powder, and beat for another 40 seconds, at the lowest speed.
  5. Then, pour the dough into a greased and floured pan.
  6. Place in the preheated oven at medium temperature and bake for 40 minutes or until the watermelon cake is golden brown.
