I was delighted with how the hotel, despite being old, is completely renovated. A landmark in the city, opened in 1933, it has an excellent location on Lisbon’s most elegant avenue. It is a classic in the city that knew how to modernize and became one of the best hotels of the city. The restaurants are great and trendy, and the spa is impeccable. O Lobby
As soon as we entered this luxury hotel in Lisbon, we smelled glamor. The lobby has very high ceilings, with a glass ceiling, through which lots of sunlight enters. Furthermore, beautiful flower arrangements in the center add an even more colorful touch and contrast with the green carpet. There is always a lot of movement in the lobby, which is certainly a very pleasant place to have a coffee, have a chat or schedule a quick meeting. The bar there is inviting, whether during the day or at night.

Location
This luxury hotel in Lisbon is located on one of the city’s most important avenues. It is full of designer stores and has several restaurants and cafes walking distance. (To go to JNCQ, for example, a super trendy restaurant, just cross the street). Liberdade metro station is right in front of the hotel.
Furthermore, in a 15-minute walk – with some climbing – you reach Príncipe Real, an effervescent neighborhood, full of bars, taverns and cool shops. On the other side, also walking, you come across Chiado, a historic and commercial area in Lisbon. This is also where the beautiful Rossio station is located. In other words, better location, impossible!

The 285 rooms are divided into several categories. Many have been recently renovated and have elegant, contemporary and practical decor. My room, Deluxe City Viewit was very quiet, with a bed king size super comfortable. It also had a desk and a nice sofa. I really liked the contrasting beige and blue colors. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. Despite being a single sink, it was spacious, as was the countertop, something essential for those who travel with several toiletries, like me, lol.

Restaurants
A hearty breakfast, where you can eat until you’ve had enough, is served at Cervejaria Liberdade, also open for lunch and dinner. With large windows and high ceilings, a very charming environment! The menu has a huge variety of fish and seafood.

The Seen restaurant, opened recently, has already become a sensation! The Art Deco-inspired decor is sophisticated and modern. Even at night it is possible to see the beautiful hills of Lisbon from there. There is a highly approved sushi bar and also Portuguese cuisine with contemporary touches. The drinks menu is very varied. I celebrated my early birthday there with friends, and it was delicious!

It is also in rooftop where the trendy Sky Bar is located, one of the main hotspots from Lisbon. It offers panoramic views of São Jorge Castle and the Tagus River, it’s a shame that in winter it was closed. But I managed to take a few clicks during the day, with the beloved Brazilian photographer Mariana Gama, from Instagram @marianagamaphoto.
Spa
The Tivoli spa is from the renowned Anatara brand and offers a series of aesthetic and relaxing treatments. I thought the massage was incredible! It can be seen that the professionals are very well trained. The natural products are from the sophisticated Biologique Recherche brand.

Furthermore, the luxury hotel in Lisbon also has a gym and a beautiful outdoor pool. So, I now need to go back in the summer to be able to enjoy it.
Service
The service at this luxury hotel in Lisbon is impeccable. I thought it was great that concierges were available on WhatsApp. A super practical measure that works very well! They send booking confirmation there or if you are on the street and want to ask any questions, just send a message. Certainly creative and functional!
My birthday
As a good traveler, of course I love celebrating my day outside Brazil. I think I chose the right place. After all, I spent time in a charming and increasingly vibrant city. Furthermore, I was treated very well at the Tivoli, a luxury hotel in Lisbon. As soon as I entered my room I found the bed full of balloons and a nice and delicious cake.
