  1. Mushrooms are NOT vegetables; they are the spore-producing life stage of fungi, likely more closely related to animals as opposed to plants. Nonetheless, mushrooms are great!

  2. Those greens are just a little spicy and actually tastes pretty good. Chard almost like spinach. Dandelion and moringa are very bitter and disgusting can't stand either one.

  4. I'm from north of Brasil, and I grow up eating okra. In Portuguese we call " quiabo" in fact we have a special dish call " caruru" made with okra , shrimp , onions, garlic and different seasonings .We serve with white rice. It's delicious !

  5. We Dominican people love to eat okra. We prepare them different ways. I love to steam and I cut lots of purple onion, red peppers, a small pinch of salt, and white vinegar. When is done I add extra virgen olive oil. Delicious👍You can prepare also with the plum tomatoes. Serve with brown rice.

  7. Well in our home garden and aquaponics we are growing everything we can: the greens, tomatoes etc : haven't started yet growing mushrooms. Even herbs and wild edibles.

  8. As far as vegetables go, per 100 calories okra is one of least nutritious along with eggplant and certain lettuce, although that is not to say it isn’t healthy to consume, all veggies are, but there are many others with higher values that you could fill that role
