Everyone loves a Christmas cake, if cake is already unanimous among adults and children. At Christmas, those works of art in the shape of cakes attract attention when decorating the table. Every dinner must have a decorated cake decorating and whetting everyone’s desire to end the night with a fresh coffee.
Christmas cakes for all tastes
I bring here some suggestions so that you don’t say that I didn’t help you with this very important part of the supper! Let’s treat your guests to this delight!
Christmas Fruit Cake: We can only start with the Christmas fruit cake with its dried fruits, nuts and washed down with a touch of rum. I always make it at the end of the year, sometimes in a small format to give as a gift and always a big one for the next day!
Chocolate Skittle: If you are a fan of chocolate, try one of those delicious, “fluffy and wet” chocolate cakes! But, if you’re in the mood to invent something, you can spice it up with a mint cream. Think fluffy layers of chocolate cake interspersed with mint cream and you have an irresistible dessert, so decorate with chocolate chips and mint leaves to ensure there are no leftovers!
Red Velvet Natalino: The vibrant red of red velvet cake is perfect for Christmas, so top it with cream cheese frosting and decorate with Christmas details like little Christmas trees or snowflakes made from sugar and guarantee success!
Almond cake: Sweeten your party with an almond cake as they add a delicious texture, and if you’re looking to do something different, try cranberries that offer a burst of flavor and a cream cheese frosting for the perfect combination.
Honey bread cake: A gingerbread cake takes you to important places at Christmas, this journey because of the spices, the honey and the dulce de leche filling provide an authentic flavor, for me it’s the flavor of Christmas, so just decorate with icing and let’s go travel in flavor.
My Christmas Cake Recipe for Beginners
If you don’t have the skills to make a Christmas-style recipe but don’t want to miss the opportunity, I’ll show you a way that I confess is very easy!
First, choose a packaged cake that is vanilla because this pure cake is already delicious, then we’ll give it a little boost to make it look like Christmas.

Cake Ingredients
1 package of ready-made vanilla cake
250ml of milk
1 cup. candied fruit (tea)
1/2 xic. (chá) raisins
Coverage Ingredients
1 cup. (tea) powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Cherries and mint leaves to decorate.
Way of doing
Just mix the finished cake with 250ml of milk and bake, but first I added the candied fruits and raisins and put it in the oven, so it was just a matter of decorating with the topping.
To do this, simply mix the icing sugar with the milk and spread it on the surface of the cake, but pay attention and plan at this point to make everything look beautiful, then just decorate with cherries and mint. Didn’t it look beautiful?
See here how I made this recipe, including the trick for the cake to have the perfect shape:
Remember that the beauty of Christmas cake goes beyond the flavor as its presentation is also fundamental. Then add edible garnishes like fresh fruits, mint leaves.
May your Christmas be sweet, delicious and full of memorable moments around the table, if you do, post and tag me and if you still have any questions, write in the comments, but you really have to write! Happy Holidays!
