I made my debut in resorts! And it couldn’t have been better. I spent five days at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta in Mexico, and I was able to live exactly what a hotel like this has to offer. In this post, I tell in detail my experience there.
Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta is located in Riviera Nayarit, more precisely in Nuevo Vallarta. We took an Aeromexico flight in Guarulhos (SP), we get off in Mexico City and after 1h flying we landed in Vallarta, a place that still does not usually receive so many Brazilians. When we arrived at the airport we were already welcomed by the Tropical Incentives team, which provides this type of service, with a beautiful smile on our face. Those who remind us how much Mexicans look like Brazilians.
ARRIVAL AND ROOM
The Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, which has an all-inclusive system, is about 20 minutes from the airport. I quickly checked in and suddenly I was surprised by the room. Immionate, with an amazing king size and a bathtub in the same environment. In fact, the room has a minibar, alcoholic beverages, TV with several paid channels, including Globo Internacional, ameneties such as shampoo and conditioner, and a good shower. In fact, when I entered there was already a hamburger-shaped candy to receive me. And another night there was a bottle of sparkling wine near the bathtub.
In the room I could feel the atmosphere of the hotel. A very large image on the wall brought a snippet of a Beatles song.
Music is what is not lacking at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. At the reception, the sound is of the best quality. In the bedroom, there is a channel that only passes classics of international music. And across the hotel there are dozens of items that once belonged to big celebrities, such as the Madonna beret, John Lennon’s outfit, Katy Perry’s dress, Elvis Presley’s jacket and more. It is also worth scheduling the tour that tells the story of each object exhibited in the hotel.
Since it is music, all guests can take a picture with a guitar and even risk playing some music with it.
GASTRONOMY
The second surprise of my stay was in a matter that interests me: the food. As everything is included in the resort, it is even difficult to decide what to eat. Once we arrived, we went to lunch in the buffet-style restaurant, the same as breakfast. They were many options. Of Mexican food, with freshly made meat, meat, chicken or salmon grilled at the moment. In addition to salad, raw salmon, cheese, pasta and desserts.
At night, another great surprise. The Zen restaurant has Japanese food and even temaki! I ate sashimi of salmon, temaki himself and yakissoba! The dessert was also special: a fried ice cream! All of the best quality. And, again, all the attendants with the smile on their face.
As I was in Mexico, I couldn’t help eating authentic Mexican food. Frida restaurant has this responsibility. At lunch a Mexican buffet brings the main dishes, with spicy chickens, tacos, nachos, guacamole and even a very different ceviche from the Peruvian.
At dinner, the dishes are à la carte and more elaborate, have the mole poblano, which is a chicken topped with an incredible mixture of peppers, chocolate and other ingredients, shrimp broth and many other traditional delicacies.
Right next to Frida, there’s a kiosk where you can eat hamburger and fries. And taking the Hard Rock tradition seriously, the hamburger with caramelized onion and bacon is amazing.
Once a week, Fish Market takes place. On the sand of the beach, are set up stalls that offer Mexican recipes made with seafood, all amazing. In addition, fish are caught on time and made for lunch at the same time. Guests accompany the fishermen arriving with the boat to prepare the dishes. All to the sound of live music and with drinks at will.
On another day, they prepared paella in the pool for anyone who wanted to have lunch. The hotel also has pizzas that are made on time and assembled with the fillings that the guest wants.
In total, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta has six dining options: buffet, Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, Asian and pizza.
BAINS AND DIVERS
Those who are in Mexico cannot fail to experience the authentic tequila. And Hard Rock has the Tequila Regulatory Board certificate proving the quality and authenticity of the drink served there.
But for those who do not care about tequila, there are beers, soft drinks, juices, drinks and various alcoholic beverages that can be consumed at any time.
In addition to the restaurants, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta offers five options for bars, such as the Sun Bar and Eclipse and a pool bar. Ahh, there are always DJs and bands, with dance floor, and pool party.
The monitors also prepare games and games throughout the day, ranging from football to show with rock band.
THE SERVICE OF THE ROOM
Room service is 24h. For example, I arrived one day of a ride with the desire to eat hamburger. I called, ordered mini burgers and chips at midnight. Fifteen minutes later, they were already in my room.
The minibar is also filled with soft drinks and beers. In addition to drinks like vodka, whisky and tequila.
COFFEE OF MANH
Breakfast is served in two restaurants and has several options of sweet and savory breads, cold cuts, fruits, scrambled eggs, Mexican food, coffee, milk, juices and even drinks and sparkling wine.
POLE AND BEACH
Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta has 348 rooms. Therefore, the two swimming pools hold the number of guests very well. They are large and have different environments. It gives, for example, to swim while some play ball or make water aerobics with teachers. There is also room for play of the animators and a water slide for children and adults to have fun.
Also missing is a chair to relax and sunbathe. And just sit down so that some waiter comes up asking what we want to drink. Even when we are inside the pool they offer drinks. As we have already mentioned, there is a bar inside one of them. Among the activities, there is yoga and football.
The Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta is located right on the beach. Therefore, you can divide your day between the pool and the sea. On the beach, there are chairs of Hard Rock with parasol in a private space.
Prepare to be enchanted by the sunset. Both on the beach and in the pool, the end of the day is amazing and inspiring. The sun sets in the Pacific Ocean and paints the sky of strong colors. It’s beautiful.
The hotel also offers two jacuzzis, beach volleyball court and multi-sport gym.
SPARE FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTES
Like every resort, Hard Rock is great for getting families. In it, there is a space dedicated to children, Little Big Club, with games and even shows with some characters, such as Bob Builder and Angelina Ballerina. It also has a teen space, with iPads and video games.
There is also an ideal accommodation option for those traveling with the family. The Deluxe Family rooms accommodate up to six people, with a maximum of four adults and two children.
SPA and ACADEMIA
For those who want to relax even more, the hotel offers a spa with massages, hairdressers and manicures, but everything is paid separately.
And if after eating so much beat that pain in consciousness, the gym is well equipped and has a beautiful view to leave the time to do less difficult exercises.
PASSEIOS
No one gets tired of relaxing, but sometimes it is good to go out also to know what is around the hotel. Therefore, Tropical Incentives offers several options of tours, also paid separately, for the whole family. From seeing the dolphins to walking around the night or enjoying a special dinner with a typical show on a beach without electricity.
WI-FI
An important information for those outside Brazil is that the hotel has free wi-fi network in all its environments, including in the rooms, and is of excellent quality.
EVENTS
The hotel also usually hosts companies and hosts weddings. It offers 1900 m2 of event-facing area, which has a capacity for up to 1500 people, in addition to customizing accommodation and decoration according to the proposed themes.
I confess that I had a little bit of fear of what it would be like to stay in a resort, but my debut was amazing. I believe that the quality of services, food and drinks directly influence the stay. Since the tourist ends up spending most of his time there and paid to have everything included.
Maybe that’s why Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta won me. The dishes are capricious, there are always good options of fish and meat, the drink is quality and service is great. After all, if we are not well served, quality products end up getting bad. And there everyone was kind and nice. From the waiter to the director. And that makes all the difference.
