Punta Sur Park in Cozumel and the most beautiful beach on the island

The island’s largest ecological reserve, the Punta Sur Park em Cozumelno Mexicoit is a very interesting experience for those who want to have contact with nature and also get to know what is considered the most beautiful beach from here. PLAYA CHUNCHACAB: THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH IN COZUMEL

A Playa Chunchacabalso known as the Punta Sur Beachit is considered the most beautiful in Cozumel. And it was she who made us come to Parque Punta Sur. It was worth it!

At the bottom there is a nautical museum (Navigation Museum) that tells the history of the place. Around the lighthouse there are still some bars, tequila and craft shops, as well as a tourist information center, bathrooms and a beach.

LAGOONS

On the opposite side of the beaches are the Colombia, Chunchacab and X’Tacún lagoonswhere it is possible to see flamingos and crocodiles. In the latter there is even a observation tower.

OTHER BEACHES

In addition to the beloved Playa Chunchacab and the one located near Faro Celarain, there are also some other beaches in the park. Only many are protected for turtle nesting.
