There is no time to deny, the Bahia has beautiful beaches. Trancoso, Caraíva, Porto Seguro and Arraial D'Ajuda, have a beach for every taste and style. But if you are someone who doesn't want to go out and about every day in the sun or who prefers to combine other walks with the beach days, you know that the region also offers several attractions besides the sea.

Borboletário e Asas Mágicas Ecological Park
It is impossible to get excited when you enter a burst of bubbles with more diverse cores and sizes.
What will he say about assisting the birth of a borboleta! Same thing! If you speak of the sort, you can see borboleta leaving the case and giving his first voice.
The visit includes a tour of the stoves with bubblers and also a visit to the park laboratory, where you will be able to see the different phases of the development of the bubbles: ovo, a lagarta and the case.
This is the best ride for adults and children. Give yourself time to take an ecological trip and ride the pedals.
The location is 30 minutes by car from Porto Seguro and has an access road with optimal conditions. It operates from fourth to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The entrance costs R$ 40 per person. Children from 5 to 10 years old pay half the entrance. Children under 4 years old do not pay.

Jaqueira Reserve
How about visiting an indigenous village? A few kilometers from the city center is the Pataxó da Jaqueira Reserve. The indigenous community welcomes visitors to tell their stories and show their costumes. Here you learn a little from day to day and how we live. It's a true cultural immersion!
You can also paint the face, dare to use the bow and arrow and try to find some words in the Patxohã language, used by the Pataxó tribe.
Don't stop trying the fish on the patioba folha (a kind of banana foliage), a typical indigenous dish, which is offered to tourists for tasting. It's a delight!
If you like the idea, the tourist can spend the night in the tribe, living the experience of sleeping in a goose.
Reserved access is on BR-367 towards Porto Seguro – Santa Cruz Cabrália. The entrance is in front of Barramares. The entrance costs R$ 40 per person.
Historical Center
A visit to the Historical Center of Porto Seguro is a living classroom of Brazilian history. It is the first residential area in the country, with impressive buildings from the 16th century, listed as national historical heritage.
It does not stop conferring the Marco do Descobrimento, trace of Portugal together with the caravels of Cabral's rubble and the Casa da Câmara e Cadeia, which houses the Museum of Porto Seguro. Also take advantage of the panoramic view and the typical twelves that are only sold by it.
Arraial d'Ajuda Aquatic Park Eco Park
Water slide, zip line, wave pool, lazy river… fun is guaranteed for those looking for adrenaline or relaxation. The park faces the beach and preserves a lot of native vegetation. There is also a power structure.
Admission for adults costs R$ 120. Children pay R$ 70 and children R$ 90. Children with a height less than 1 meter do not pay.

Observation of baleias
Between the months of July and October, it is possible to take a boat trip to observe the Jubarte beaches. Depending on the sea conditions, be sure to listen to the songs with the help of a hydrophone.
