We went to see Lasai’s newest event space, under the command of award-winning chef Rafa Costa e Silva. The location chosen was the old address of one of the best restaurants in Brazil. Lasai Eventos is located in a 1902 mansion, completely renovated in Botafogo, and can accommodate 45 to 150 people, in different rooms and different formats. From breakfast to dinner, or even cocktails. All this, of course, with chef Rafa Costa e Silva’s haute cuisine, with fresh and organic ingredients. So, if you were looking for a place to hold events in Rioit found!

Lasai’s new event space
Lasai Eventos has a modern and welcoming atmosphere, and the decoration is by Malena Cardiel, chef Rafa’s wife, who creates beautiful flower arrangements. The event and capacity possibilities are diverse, being able, for example, to accommodate up to 80 people seated for gastronomic experiences,
divided into two spaces. For cocktails and more relaxed events, the space can accommodate up to 160 people. Additionally, there is the option to hold meetings for smaller groups, with space for up to 45 people.

We were present at the inauguration of Lasai’s event space and were able to get a taste of how it will work, and what can be served at events, depending on each client. Cheese bread stuffed with guava paste, ham croquette, okra with miso and Brazil nuts and sirloin cup with carrot, baroa and radish, for example, are some of the options.

Calm Events
Lasai’s new event space has three floors. On the second floor, there is a large hall with capacity to accommodate up to 60 people for lunches and dinners, or 100 people for cocktails, and also a balcony. The third offers a terrace with a lounge, for up to 30 people for lunches and dinners, or 90 people for cocktail-style events. Certainly a very versatile and pleasant environment, with covered and outdoor areas.
