Korean Chicken Baked in Coca-Cola Sauce

Korean Chicken Baked in Coca-Cola Sauce

Meat

Receipt of Coreno Chicken with Coca-Cola? A savory recipe? In truth! A very different option for everyday chicken.

You didn’t read it wrong, that’s right: Korean Chicken in Coca-Cola Sauce! When I saw this alternative option for a super typical Korean dish and because of the different sauce, I had to make it.

The traditional Korean recipe is called Chimaek which is nothing more than fried chicken accompanied by beer. And Korea is known for having the best fried chicken of existence, which I personally believe even though I haven’t experienced it yet.

In this alternative version, instead of frying, the chicken pieces are roasted. I love frying, but I only do it at home when absolutely necessary.

I saw this recipe on Gabie Kook’s channel, which is from a Korean family, so if she made it, I can too! Even more so because of the sauce that goes Coca Cola! That’s what caught my attention.

Using soda in recipes isn’t that new, there are cakes and the famous Tender in Coca-Cola which is incredible.

But I hadn’t seen or tried it like this sauce. I did it and I thought it was amazing, I really liked it! The chicken is great, of course, which is not the same as frying. If it’s already good roasted, imagine fried?
