Pete Davidson, an American comedian who has been making headlines since dating reality TV star Kim Kardashian, shocked the public with his latest news. Davidson will travel to space next week aboard a Blue Origin rocket. In this sense, the news that Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend will travel to space came out this Monday (14), through the company.

This will be the fourth flight with humans aboard Jeff Bezos’ space company. Like the previous ones, the launch base should take place in West Texas. Pete, invited by Blue Origin, will be accompanied by five other passengers. They are all businessmen, who paid an undisclosed price for the travel experience. In any case, the flight should only last 10 minutes, and is scheduled for 8:30 local time (9:30 Brasília time), on March 23rd.

At 28 years old, Pete Davidson gained fame for his role in a comedy program, “Saturday Night Live”, on American television. Recently, he ended up being the target of the wrath of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband. The two’s bombshell divorce took place at the beginning of March.

The rocket in which Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend will travel to space is called New Shepard. Blue Origin’s creation takes off vertically. At a height of 75 kilometers, the capsule separates from the launcher, and then continues its trajectory until reaching, at a height of more than 100 km, the Karman line. In this sense, the line marks the beginning of space according to international conventions. From then on, passengers can detach themselves from their seats, floating in zero gravity and admiring the Earth through the hatches.

Then, the capsule begins a free fall to return to Earth, braked by retropropellers and parachutes. Jeff Bezos himself has already embarked on the adventure, during the rocket’s first flight. Since then, the spacecraft has transported other famous guests, such as William Shatner and Laura Shepard Churchley, the daughter of the first American in space.
