Ketogenic diet menu for weight loss

Nutrition

In the ketogenic diet menu for weight loss, you should avoid all foods rich in carbohydrates, such as rice, pasta, flour, bread and sugar, while increasing the consumption of foods that are sources of protein and fat, such as meat, eggs , avocado and olive oil.

In the case of fruits, you should preferably consume strawberries, blueberries, cherries and blackberries, as they contain the least amount of carbohydrates. See all allowed and prohibited foods on the ketogenic diet.

The ketogenic diet encourages weight loss because it causes the body to use its own fat as a source of energy. Furthermore, the ketogenic diet increases satiety, because fats and proteins are nutrients that take longer to be digested, remaining in the stomach for longer.
