Attention lovers of good music: there are highs going on Jazz nights at the Hotel Pestana Rio Atlântica. Created by pianist André Cechinel, guitarist and producer Fernando Clark and Reinaldo Figueiredo, double bassist and comedian from the group Casseta & Planeta, the project, which was already on display at Hotel Marina, is now located in Copacabana, facing the sea. Named “Bossa Jazz and much more”, the idea is to welcome samba-jazz and/or MPB musicians and singers from the first team, at Cais da Ribeira, the hotel’s restaurant.

In the month of February, on Fridays and Saturdays, performances by renowned musicians are scheduled, such as the singer Marianna Leporace, who will perform the show “Samba em Família”, on Friday, 19/2, and the Conexão Rio Group, with performances on the 26 and 27/2 and participation of Vinícius Cantuária.
I was present at the Leo Gandelman Trio show, which hosted the project’s launch party and it was quite a night! With few places in Rio to listen to quality music, the idea is more than welcome and we, from You Must Gowhich we love music, we were very happy. Don’t forget to check it out!
Cais da Ribeira opens from 8pm and offers a gastronomic menu for those who want to enjoy dinner before the shows, which always starts at 10pm, with an artistic cover charge for R$50.00. The restaurant has 80 seats and reservations are essential by calling: 21 96784-2262. Reservations are guaranteed until 9:15 pm.
