Husband's Sanduba – Panelaterapia

Husband’s Sanduba

Snacks

My husband is crazy about Pastrami, a type of cured and smoked meat sliced very thinly. Unfortunately, the options we find for sale in supermarkets are very different from homemade pastramis, but he still loves them.

This sandwich has already become his trademark, but every now and then we make small changes that turn out well. This time I used an olive mayonnaise which gave it a special touch. You can find this mayonnaise from several brands in large supermarkets, but if you can’t find it, make this recipe herereplacing the oil with olive oil.

So to assemble the sandwich:

  1. Cut the bread in half, spread a layer of olive mayonnaise.
  2. Add some arugula leaves.
  3. Pastrami slices.
  4. Add yellow mustard.
  5. Slices of cheese (we used this one from polengui which really tastes like polenguinho) and if you want, more mustard!

If you want to add pickled cucumber, it would also be great, but I didn’t have any at home at the time.

This sandwich made on baguette-style bread and cut into slices is a great option to serve at informal meetings, or “festcheenha co’s brothers” manja?
