Homemade Orange Jelly – Panelaterapia

Homemade Orange Jelly

Sweet cakes and pies

I did homemade orange jam these days but I also used it to cover an orange cake (if you want the recipe, you can find it here). I make it in the simplest way possible, in fact I don’t use pectin, I just use fruit, lemon juice and sugar, very simple to make!

I cut 8 oranges into 4 parts, removed the peel and the thickest part of the middle (that white one). I crushed it with the mixer with the juice of 1 lemon and put it on the fire with sugar.
To calculate the quantities, do this: beat the orange (suitable for any fruit) with the lemon in a mixer or blender, you will use half the amount of sugar obtained.

For example, if you beat the orange with the lemon juice and obtained 1 cup (tea) of fruit puree, you will add 1/2 cup of sugar. It is always half the amount of fruit puree. I always use this proportion.

Bring the orange puree with sugar to a boil and stir over low heat until it thickens, but don’t worry, once it cools it will harden. So keep it in the fridge and you’ll have your homemade orange jelly ready in no time.

There is a video of Jelly

Today there’s also a new video, and it’s a little different! A TAG, that is, a question and answer video about the beginning of my life as a blogger and YouTuber, as well as sharing a little of my routine. Don’t forget to subscribe by clicking on the panel to the right of the video, it helps me a lot!

If you’re a fan of jelly like me, don’t forget to also make Mango and Passion Fruit Jelly, Pepper Jelly or Fruit Jelly, which for me is the best because it eliminates fruit waste, I like it so much that I even made a video.
