I eat this meal twice a week, entire family loves it
Looks great!
"Eat the tails"! omg, I have a funny newlywed story. Years ago, this Arkansas gal transplanted to Louisiana and married a Louisiana man. Well, I wanted to be a good Louisiana wife, so I planned to make breaded shrimp for dinner. I worked hard, got everything done, and we sat down to eat. He took a bite, got a funny look on his face, but manfully munched and munched. Turns out that I did not know I was supposed to shell the shrimp before breading and frying them! LOL! Guess I was a Gundry-ite before I knew about him. We still talk about that to this day, almost 50 years later. But this recipe, I will shell the shrimp and leave only the tails, lol.
Wow 🙂 I am a professional pad thai cook in thai restaurant. But I love how you make the healthy choice lectin free recipe 👍😊
eat like an Asian lol
I am allergic to shellfish. What is a good substitution for shellfish in this dish?
Is there a recipe ?
I'm allergic to mushrooms, would this noodles be ok?
Thanks Guy from KFC
Where can I find a Thai restaurant that sells Dr Gundry's kind of Pad Thai?
Not a fan of the miracle noodles. Have to try sweet potatoes noodles

Just made this today and it came out amazing. I even ate the tails too like you said and it wasn't bad at all. Thank you for sharing this Dr G.

I cannot wait to try this. I definitely can’t eat tails but maybe I will keep them and freeze them and use them in making stock.
which brand olive oil
whoah!! That's a lot of fish sauce!!
Only time I've seen a man cook in a tie
Dear Sir,
Your youtube is so much benefit for me, however I would like to tell you some information as follows; The original phad thai recipe was invented by Priminister Pibulsonggkram's wife 60+ years ago in order to create noodle recipe for thai race and to compete with the popular chinese noodle recipe at that time. The most famous forever pad thai is pad thai at sam ran rat intersection in bangkok that thai called "pad thai @ pra too bhee". Both recipes are very similar to your one except the basil leaf. And we define our pad thai with its signature of "tamarin sauce" the secret that most foreigner don't know. After we get use to with pad thai we created new recipe called pad khi mao ( pad thai for the drunk) that we mixed pad thai with another popular recipe — the basil stir fry — and to make more spicy, we put a lot of spices for example such as fresh green pepper, chilli ect.
Sincerely your,
I have cancer stage 4 lung. I am very fit and well and have followed your Plant Paradox diet to the letter for 18 months. Can I have pressure cooked beans and lentils now or am I on the intensive care diet forever? Thanks for all your help. I wouldn’t be still living a full life if it wasn’t for this diet. Linda
You made a comment about chickens being feed corn. I have my own chickens and have always thought this was good for them not bad. Are you able to explain why?
Yummy looks good

Looks delicious
"ONE" teaspoon of salt looks like a lot of salt HAHA
Smells good Doc…
“I’ll just eat it like an Asian” ok boomer
I love basil, but it "repeats"on me aka burp it up.
Lovely! I love all your videos Dr. Gundry! I just a made a video with my own healthy delicious version. Completely different but super yum! Come take a look. Cheers!
I have always eaten the shrimp tails while my friends and family looked on in horror and embarrassment. I feel so validated now! 🙂 Thank you Dr. Gundry!
I don't think you are supposed to use olive oil on high heat… maybe Avo instead or coconut since its pad thai might be better…
Can I get your opinion about pot and pan material (stainless steal is that)? What’s good and what should I avoid?
Hello! I traditionally make Pad Thai with tamarind and was wondering if you know wether or not it contains lectin?
Thank you for this recipe Dr. Gundry! I just made this recipe tonight and my oh my it was delicious. Next time I will exclude the salt, but this will definitely be a recipe I gravitate towards often!
😲 😱 I am totally going to make this recipe 😋😍
This is one of my favorite Dr. Gundry's recipe! I've made it so many times! My boyfriend and love just love it.
PS. Another one we absolutely love it is the Spring Roll in a Bowl. 😉
I think the 'next video' he is referring to is the 'healthy pad Thai recipe': https://youtu.be/qipiMDkXaIQ
Thank you Dr.
I wish he included the recipe. I know nothing about the noodles or how they were pre-cooked. I understand they were cooked differently from their instructions.
