Fruit Pie – Panelaterapia

Fruit Pie

Sweet cakes and pies

Guys, you have no idea how delicious this pie is! And how beautiful is it? I love the color of the fruits and the flavor of all of them together, but if you want to take advantage of the dough and filling recipe and use just one fruit for the topping, that’s fine too? It’s delicious with just strawberries too!

Since I’m talking about these beautiful fruits, which I used in the recipe, I’m going to tell you something new, because what’s good has to be shared: Today we’re all concerned about knowing the origin of the food we eat, right? Knowing how it was produced makes all the difference not only at our table, but for the entire country.

To help us, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the Agro+ Integrity seal and is already encouraging companies to produce even better.

This program came to encourage agribusiness companies to produce with transparency, ethics, respect for laws, employees and the environment.

And you are aware that our choices directly influence the future of the country, right people? A huge responsibility! When we choose a product that has the Agro+ Integrity seal, we will help develop stronger, more modern and sustainable agriculture for Brazil.

I thought it was really cool, because that’s the way to go, involving the whole of society so we can have a better Brazil. So stay tuned, because from October we will be able to look for the seal on the products we consume. As I know that my Panelaterapia audience is engaged, I leave you with this tip so that you can find out more on agricultura.gov.br. Now let’s go for our pie?

The filling is that cream that you put on the fire, let it boil until it thickens. The ingredients are:
2 col. corn starch (soup);
350 ml of milk;
1 can of condensed milk;
3 egg yolks passed through a sieve.

For the topping I used strawberries, grapes, kiwi and peaches in syrup. I brushed a glossy jelly on top of the fruits, just heat 150 ml of peach syrup and 1 tbsp. (dessert) of cornstarch. After it boils and thickens, let it cool a little at room temperature and brush on the fruit.
