Presenter Faustão made his long-awaited debut on Band with great attractions and fun scenes for the public.
Last Monday (17) was a great day for renowned presenter Fausto Silva, after debuting his program on Band in style. In this sense, Faustão debuts on Band, returning a much-needed joy to television, proving through his presence that it was already sorely missed in prime time. After all, in the first block alone, the attraction left the presenter in second place in audience ratings. In the Ibope preview, it had 8 points, behind only Globo, which scored 19 points. At 9:19 pm, however, he already scored 10 points.
“Faustão na Band” will be shown from Monday to Friday, and marked the presenter’s return to Band after 33 years. Fausto Silva has also presented “Perdidos na Noite”, his first TV program on the network. This made him one of the greatest communicators in the country.
“33 years later I’m back at Band’s house. Opening the João Jorge Saad auditorium studio, in honor of the founder of Grupo Bandeirantes. This year Rádio Bandeirantes is celebrating 85 years and Band TV 55 years”, reflected Fausto. Soon after, the presenter entered the stage with Anne Lotterman and her son, João Guilherme Silva.
Faustão debuts on Band with great audience numbers
As soon as the program started, Faustão called the painting “Cassetadas do Faustão”, one of the most famous of all. On that occasion, he dedicated the painting to Silvio de Abreu, Ana Maria Braga and other friends from TV Globo. Likewise, he mentioned the names of other colleagues that he took into his life, such as Celso Portiolli, Mariana Goldfarb, Cauã Reymond, Patrícia Poeta, Marcos Quintela. The musical score was the same as that used on Globo, as the music is by Luciana Cardoso, Fausto’s wife, along with Luiz Schiavon and Nil Bernardes.
The first musical attraction when Faustão debuted in the Band was Zeca Pagodinho. The singer received dozens of compliments from his friend Fausto, and sang his biggest hits on stage. “Let’s chase away the sadness”, said Fausto upon welcoming him, releasing his voice to sing some excerpts from Zeca’s songs too. The program also had Alexandre Pires and Seu Jorge on stage, showing a little of their tour.
According to columnist Ricardo Feltrin, the Band’s attraction has very strong sponsors, such as Magazine Luiza, Carrefour, PagSeguro, Santander, Uninove colleges and the Flash card.
On each day of the week, the program will have different frames. Every day of the week, the public is entertained by “Cassetadas do Faustão”. On Monday, “Pizzaria do Faustão” takes place. Tuesday, “Grana ou Fama” and “Desbravadores do Planeta”. On Wednesday, “Dance of the Beasts” and “Esta é sua Vida”. Soon after, on Thursday, “Na Pista do Sucesso”. Finally, on Friday, “Churrascão do Faustão”.
