Here at home, “Mr. Panela” has a strong preference for sugo sauce. And let’s agree that the trio of pasta + tomato sauce + basil is everything in this life! Good Parmesan is also part of this show, see? When I want a quick and delicious sauce to accompany pasta, this is what I make.

Quick game: sauté 1/3 onion in olive oil, add 1 level tablespoon of crushed garlic, add 1 can of peeled tomatoes, 1/3 cup of water, 1/2 small packet of broth powder (I used one that The name of the flavor is “homemade”), fresh basil leaves and a pinch of sugar (to balance the acidity). At the end I adjust the salt and that’s it.
If you are a more evolved person than me and make homemade broth at home, you can use it instead of water and skip the powdered broth.
When I want a “chunky” sauce, I crush the tomatoes in the pan as they cook, when I want a more uniform sauce like the one in the photo, I grind them with the mixer at the end.
To accompany this luxurious gnocchi, I already gave the recipe –> here success is guaranteed!
