Easy Chicken Pie

Sweet cakes and pies

This is the “typical” recipe for the famous blender pie, but I mix everything in the bowl, using a whisk. I always make it with tuna or whatever I have in the fridge, leftover chicken breast, roast beef, or even a vegetarian version, it’s always delicious!
I’ll start with the filling ingredients because it needs to be cold to use in the pie, ok?

Filling Ingredients:
1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast (or leftover roast chicken);
1/2 chopped onion;
2 cloves of chopped garlic;
1/3 cup. cooked corn (tea);
1/3 cup. pea (tea) (I use frozen packets);
1 seedless and skinless tomato, chopped;
1 tablespoon of tomato paste;
Salt, black pepper and green scent to taste;
150 ml of water.

Sauté the onion in olive oil, when it wilts add the garlic and before it browns, add the chicken and the rest of the ingredients. Let it cook until the water almost dries out. Let cool.

For mass Just mix in the order below:
3 eggs;
240 ml of milk (1 cup of tea);
120 ml of oil or olive oil (1/2 cup of tea);
1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of wheat flour;
1 teaspoon of salt;
3 tablespoons of grated parmesan;
1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder.

Assembly:
Place half the dough in a greased and floured pan, add the filling and the other half. Sprinkle with grated parmesan (oregano is also good). Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 40 minutes.
*Yields a small pan measuring 28x18cm.
