Coconut sponge cake

Sweet cakes and pies

This cake has a delicate flavor and is not very sweet, the problem is that because it is not cloying you eat about 4 pieces while playing! I’ll try the light version (I’ll let you know later if it works).

For mass:

– 6 eggs

– 2 cups (tea) of sugar

– 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour

– 1/2 cup (tea) coconut milk

– 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until light. Remove from the mixer, add the flour, coconut milk and yeast little by little. Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate them into the mixture. Grease a baking tray, add the dough and place in the preheated oven for around 25 minutes (200ºC).

Roof:

-100g grated coconut

-1 cup coconut milk

-1/2 cup of milk

-4 tablespoons of sugar.

Mix everything and spread over the hot cake.
