Christmas Jelly Mosaic

Sweet cakes and pies

The Gelatin Mosaic is one of those desserts that everyone has tried at some point in their lives but never remembers until they see the dish. This quick and easy dessert always pleases everyone, so let’s go!

Recipe from the 80s

The gelatin mosaic is one of those desserts that was always present at meetings, birthdays and Christmas and New Year’s dinners in the 80s, but for a while it disappeared from the tables. However, everything in life is cyclical and given its ease and the explosion of flavors, it made me return more and more to family gatherings.

My Mosaic Recipe

This simple recipe can be made with gelatin in the colors and flavors you like, I chose to make it with strawberry and lemon to give it Christmas colors, but I also love making it colorful, after all, it looks so beautiful!!

Ingredients:

1 strawberry gelatin;
1 lemon gelatin;
2 packets of colorless gelatin prepared as indicated on the packaging;
1 bottle of coconut milk;
1 can of condensed milk;
Shredded coconut for sprinkling (optional)
1 can (or box) of cream.

How to Make your Gelatin Mosaic

Prepare the strawberry and lemon jellies using 150ml of boiling water and 150ml of cold water in each one, then refrigerate.

Beat or mix condensed milk, cream, coconut milk. Then add the 2 packets of colorless gelatin prepared according to the packaging (but if you want to know how to use it, see here).

Cut the two gelatins into cubes and place in a hole mold in the middle (but if you put a little water in the mold and just drain the excess, it will unmold easier). Then pour the cream over the jellies and refrigerate for 3 hours. Unmold and serve.
