Oh cherries! I can’t make any recipes with them because I eat them all as soon as I get home from the produce.
When I was in São Paulo I bought 450g from a guy who sold it at the lighthouse. It was R$15.00 but he left it for R$10.00. I love it!
For this drink, combine 20 pitted cherries (fresh) crushed with 4 level tablespoons of sugar and 4 tablespoons of cherry syrup (maraschino).
Add the juice of 1 lemon, 80ml of vodka (I used Absolut vanilla) and 150ml of water (can be orange juice or lemon soda).
Place in a pitcher with plenty of ice.
