How to make an air freshener at home

Air freshener can be easily made at home, all you need to do is have essential oil, distilled water and grain alcohol available.

Stick air freshener

Ingredients

  • 1 glass container of 200 ml;
  • 100 ml of distilled water;
  • 100 ml of grain alcohol;
  • Wooden sticks, skewer type;
  • 10 drops of the essential oil of your choice.

Preparation mode

Just put the grain alcohol in the container and add the drops of essential oil. Mix well and leave the mixture covered to rest for 3 days. Then, open the bottle, add distilled water and mix well. Place the sticks inside the glass container and position the sticks so that they are spread out. This aromatizer should last around 20 days, being a safe and efficient way to improve the aroma at home or at work, for example.

Spray air freshener

Ingredients

  • 30 drops of essential oil of your choice;
  • 350 ml of grain alcohol;
  • 100 ml of distilled water;
  • 1 glass bottle for mixing;
  • 1 spray bottles.

Preparation mode

Place the essential oil in the glass bottle and add the grain alcohol. Store the closed glass bottle in a closed cabinet for 18 hours and then open it and leave it in a cool place for another 6 hours so that the alcohol is eliminated naturally. Then add the distilled water, mix well and place the mixture in a bottle with a vaporizer. Spray into the air indoors whenever necessary.
