Model Ana Paula Gov, considered the Muse of Flamengo, is fighting day by day to overcome the death of her mother Vera Lúcia in July this year. According to the brunette, weight training at the gym was essential for her emotional health during this difficult time.

“I really like working out and always have, but I’ve been dedicating myself body and soul since the beginning of the year. Physical activities and the gym end up being my therapy, my escape from problems…”

“The year didn’t start very well for my family. I lost my mother on July 19th this year after she had her third cancer. She was a warrior, she fought hard with a lot of perseverance until she metastasized and passed away.”

“I’m very proud to be the daughter of this woman who never gave up on anything”, says Ana Paula Gov, without hiding her emotion when talking about her mother.

According to the brunette, Vera Lúcia was one of those responsible for her fanaticism for Flamengo.

“I’ve been a flamenco fan since I was little and the person who influenced me was my mother. She was very passionate and never missed a Mengão game.”

“Now I do the same thing, influencing my daughter Luana, who is currently five years old. She is a Flamengo fan out of free and spontaneous pressure (laughs). Just kidding, because the passion for Flamengo is something inexplicable, which is born with us”.

Ana Paula Gov also says that she watches all the red-black team’s games on television and whenever she can, she goes to the stadiums in the state of Rio de Janeiro to cheer and support Fla.

“I’ve been to see Mengão matches at Maracanã and I fell in love. The stadium has a unique atmosphere and is a symbol of the race and commitment of Flamengo players.”

When talking about her body, the Flamengo Muse surprises by revealing that she is not currently on any diet.

“I don’t follow any diet, on the contrary, I eat everything, but everything in moderation, of course. I avoid fried foods, fatty foods, and eat lots of vegetables and fruits. I love bananas! Since I was little, my lunch was rice, beans and bananas (laughs)”.

“I come back and eat a cream cracker. At lunch there is always banana in the food, as well as vegetables, chicken, rice and beans. I always take a banana to eat in the afternoon too or, if I don’t have one, it can be any other fruit.”

“At night I like to eat wholemeal bread and sometimes I have dinner. I always say that if I follow a diet, it’s the banana diet (laughs).”
