Last time I was in MiamiI ended my season with a flourish: a brunch at Gluttony. In Sobe (South of South Beach), the French restaurant was opened this year, has an incredible buffet on Sundays and exceptional service.
For starters, the chef makes waffles, eggs and pancakes to order. Hard choice. The range of breads, salads and cold cuts is huge. I fell in love with butter, authentic French and hard to find in the USA. Sweets, in style patisserie French are jaw-dropping: tartelletes, bombs, dreams and a variety of pies.
With a bistro feel and a French menu with contemporary touches, the restaurant, which has a branch in Mexico City, opens for lunch and dinner and certainly doesn’t disappoint at those times. If it’s not raining or too hot, you can sit outside. I’ll be back.
