When you think of Disney, the first image that comes to mind is that famous princess castle with, who knows, a rainbow behind it. Magic Kingdom, however, is just one of the parks in the huge Disney complex. In addition, visitors can have fun at EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood, at the Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks and at Disney Quest. Buying Disney tickets for each of these attractions is not complicated.
Just like at Universal parks, you can hire an agency to do this for you or leave it to buy at the parks ticket office. But doing it alone, over the internet, is very simple and safe. Follow the steps and save the agency commission money to buy some souvenirs.
1. Choose the ticket type
First, you need to access this website here. Right away, you will have to choose how many and what type of tickets you want. There are basically two types of tickets for Disney parks: Single Day, a common ticket, for one day at the park; and Multi Day, which is for those who want to have fun for more than one day. The more days you go, the cheaper it is.
If you intend to purchase Single Day, it is good to already have an idea of which Disney parks you intend to visit. This is because the ticket to Magic Kingdom is not the same as the other parks (EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood).
Multi Day tickets give access to any park, on any day. You just need to pay attention to the validity of the tickets, which is 14 days from the first use. This means that, if you purchased a ticket for four days and used it for the first time today, you will have another 14 days to use the remaining three.
2 – Choosing ticket extras
But is it possible to visit more than one park per day? He has. However, to do so, you will have to pay another 40 or 60 dollars, depending on your ticket. After choosing your ticket, scroll down and stop at part 3 – Select Ticket Options. There you can choose add-ons for your entry, including the Park Hopper option, which allows entry to more than one park. There is also the Water Park Fun & More option, which gives access to Disney water parks, Disney Quest, the ESPN complex and three golf courses. If you buy the Park Hopper and Water fun combined, it will be cheaper.
In part 4, you can add Memory Maker, a package with unlimited photos taken by Disney photographers. You know when they take photos on the roller coasters, with the characters and everything? So, instead of buying each one separately, you pay for the package and print as many as you want.
After that, press “add to cart” and go to the next step.
3 – Disney tickets: finalizing the purchase
On the next page, you will review your order. If you want, you can add other things to the cart. Otherwise, click “check out”. If you are not logged in, you will be asked for your username and password on the site. You can also create an account if you don’t already have one.
Next, you must inform who will use each ticket. Disney tickets are personal and non-transferable, so this step is important. If you do not have any user registered in your account, you must create a profile with personal data to make the association.
Is the whole class registered? Then press “next” to move on.
Now, you will have to choose the delivery method. For us, the most interesting one is Will Call: you receive a voucher by email and exchange it at the Disney box office on the first day you use it. To do this, in addition to the voucher, you must also bring the credit card used to make the purchase and a photo ID, preferably your passport so that no one gets into trouble. The other options are to deliver by mail within the United States and international delivery, which can take days to arrive in Brazil.
In the next step, you must select the payment method. There aren’t many options, it’s a credit or debit card.
5 – Confirmation
If everything went well, you should receive, within a few moments, a confirmation email with all the purchase details. Attached to this email is your voucher. You must print it and take it with you on the day of your first visit, to exchange for the ticket.
