Baleia Rooftop

Opened a few months ago, Baleia Rooftop is located in the iconic B32 complex, right on Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima. With an area of 680 m², there are five distinct rooms, all with glass enclosures! Outside, four private wooden bungalows sit around a garden with tables covered in ombrelones, and which extend to the building’s parapet. The menu is designed by chef Flávio Miyamura and offers Mediterranean cuisine with crudo, fish, homemade pasta and cuts of meat. “The rooftop overlooks the huge whale that is right at the entrance to the development. The three-chocolate mousse there is one of the best I’ve ever eaten!”, says Tina Bornstein, journalist and editor of the website CNN Viagem & Gastronomia. Meanwhile, the drinks menu is consulted by bartender Marco De La Rocha, who divided the drinks into classics and signatures!

MII Rooftop – what to do in São Paulo

Opened two months ago, the restaurant is on the top floor of the Vila Anália complex, in the East Zone. There are two rooms with decor inspired by Mykonos, and all the furniture came directly from Greece. Dr. Viotto, dentist for celebrities such as Ludmilla and Neymar, is already a regular visitor. “MII Rooftop certainly has a unique atmosphere and, of course, impeccable cuisine led by Italian chef Antonio Maiolica. It’s worth ordering the house’s seafood dishes. There is a starter with shrimp with kataife paste and avocado cream that is unmissable! Furthermore, another dish that I love to order when the table is full is the Lamb Palette, which serves several people and comes with Moroccan cous cous and vegetable capoça,” he says.

In the drinks section, the house has more than 250 wine labels. “The menu is impeccable and comprehensive, signed by sommelier Ricardo Santinho. However, it’s always nice to start the experience at MII Rooftop with a house drink. My favorite is the refreshing Clericot”, adds Dr Viotto. In addition, there is also live music programming, with renowned bands and DJs.

Terrace Italy

Certainly a São Paulo classic! With more than 50 years of history, Terraço Itália is a true leisure and events complex, with the best of Italian cuisine. And this Wednesday, to celebrate the anniversary, there will be a guided tour available from 4pm to 7pm, upon payment of a fee of R$50. Therefore, the guide will welcome visitors and explain, from a height of 165 meters, the main historical points of the city. Those who want to take the opportunity to include lunch before their visit will have a special menu to taste, created by Tuscan chef Pasquale Mancini. “I love watching the sunset from up there and I’m always impressed by the size of São Paulo. Of course, having a whiskey or a glass of Champagne!”, says Maria Vargas, journalist, PR and partner at Documennta Comunicação.

Address: Avenida Ipiranga, n°344 – 41° – Centro. The menu costs R$ 212.00 + 12% service charge, children up to 6 years old are free, and children aged 7 to 11 have a 50% discount.

Seen – no Tivoli Mofarrej

The trendy restaurant at Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej is on the 23rd floor and has a stunning 360° view! Cool, with a bar feel, it is frequented by elegant people of different ages. You can choose to sit at the bar, at one of the restaurant tables, or on the 65 m² velvet sofa. “From the delicious and filling breakfast to the nightlife, one of my favorite places in São Paulo with stunning views!”, is what our editor-in-chief, Renata Araújo, says. Additionally, this January, Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo offers a 20% discount on stays made up to the 31st, including breakfast.

Skye

The bar and restaurant at Hotel Unique is certainly on the list of the best rooftops in São Paulo. In addition to the impressive view of the city, the “red” pool is a landmark at Unique! Definitely a place you have to visit when you go to São Paulo, even if you don’t stay at the hotel. Someone who also has this opinion is the singer Wilson Simoninha! “Before the pandemic, they had a really cool alternative music festival there. There is a very special place, with a beautiful view of the skyline of the city”, says Simoninha. With great and original drinks, the menu has a variation of snacks, ranging from pizzas to sushi. In fact, Skye is inviting before or, preferably, after dinner, at the restaurant of the same name, which is next door.

So, after so many options, you now have something to do in São Paulo!
