PhD Darya Rose, author of the book “Using Real Food and Real Science to Lose Weight Without Dieting” and creator of the award-winning Summer blog Tomato, gave some tips on things that naturally thin people never do and we brought these tips to share with you.
You know those skinny friends of yours who apparently eat whatever they want and don’t gain weight?
While we generally attribute this to genetics, some studies have shown that naturally thin people actually have some habits that help them stay in shape.
Additionally, these naturally thin people also avoid several habits that people who have difficulty maintaining weight or losing weight have.
Darya Rose gave some tips for women who want to stay thin by sharing 3 things that a naturally thin woman never does. Check out!
1. Depriving yourself of your favorite foods
While it makes sense that if you want to lose weight you shouldn’t eat ice cream every day, naturally thin people know that a treat every now and then won’t have a real impact on their health or body weight.
Naturally thin people don’t deprive themselves of their favorite foods, even if they have a few hundred calories.
The key is balance. Eating ice cream or eating chocolate once a week will not make you gain pounds and pounds.
This is true and it works – no matter how much you weigh.

2. Taking emotions out on food
How good it would be if we felt like eating a giant plate of salad when we were sad, right? But, generally, we attack higher-calorie and fatty foods at these times.
Naturally thin people don’t take their emotions out on food. They enjoy the act of eating just like we do, but they are much less likely to use food as an “escape.”
Instead of diving into a tub of ice cream or buying 5-packs at your favorite fast-food joint, find healthy ways to deal with your emotions. Talking about your feelings with friends and family, meditating, exercising, and participating in activities that provide insight are good alternatives.

3. Continue eating even after feeling full

Naturally, thin people have an innate ability to listen to their bodies, perhaps because they’re not constantly fighting against them.
For this reason, they are more able to stop eating when they feel full, whether the plate is empty or still contains some food.
