1. While dry cleaning is fine for basic silk items, it’s even better to hand wash them in order to keep these types of garments in good shape.

3. Try not to machine wash denim items. If you have to do this, turn the temperature down to the lowest setting possible and remove before the garment is completely dry. Hang upside down and let dry naturally.

4. Learn how to fold your jeans like a pro: lay them on a flat surface and fold in the middle from left to right. Hold the legs and fold them in half so that the hem is aligned with the waistband. Fold in half once more.
