A festival that combines wine, gastronomy and music! This is Douro & Porto Wine, which takes place this weekend, on the 17th and 18th of September, on the banks of the Douro River, in Lamego. The event aims to promote wine production and the development of wine tourism in the region. The wine festival in Portugal will feature shows from big names in the world of music, such as Fafá de Belém and Gipsy Kings, as well as some of the best chefs in the country! Wine festival in Portugal
The first edition of the event takes place at the Commercial Port of Cambres, 138 km from Porto. Spanning six hectares and with capacity for 100,000 people, the space will welcome big names in music, countless chefs, successful wine producers and various guests. Elected in June as European City of Wine 2023, it is certainly the perfect destination for drink lovers!

On the Cook Stage, the festival’s most gourmet stage, there will be Live Cooking, tastings, music and lectures. Among the confirmed names, for example, are JJ Vintém, António Loureiro and Marlene Vieira. The Douro & Porto Stage is preparing to welcome national and international artists, such as Gipsy Kings, The Stranglers, Fafá de Belém and Pedro Abrunhosa.
Wine lovers will be able to have sensory and wine experiences in the Wine Experience area, in addition to being able to participate in various tastings and competitions. Among different brand stands with activations, there will also be a Cook Area with more than 10 exclusive dishes for sale and a Premium Food Truck Area. In other words, a festival for the whole family!
