Who is the Pontio family?
The controversial Poncio family is made up of Sarah, Saulo, Davi, Henry, José, João, Simone and Márcio.
1 – Patriarch and Matriarch of the Poncio family
Initially, the patriarch of the Poncio family is Márcio José. However, she was not involved in any major controversy like the other members of the family. Furthermore, he is leader of the Anabaptist Pentecostal Church, in Rio de Janeiro. Furthermore, he is also a businessman and owner of a tobacco distributor.

2 – The children: Sarah and Saulo Poncio

On the other hand, Saulo Poncio is a Brazilian singer who makes up the duo UM44K, together with Luan Otten. Furthermore, he was married to digital influencer Gabi Brandt. And, together with her, they had two sons, David and Henry.

The Poncio family, specifically Saulo and Sarah, have many children. At first, as a result of the love between Saulo and Gabi Brandt, they had two sons: Henry and Davi. Furthermore, Madalena is a considerate daughter of Saulo.

1 – Simon Poncio
Simone, matriarch of the Poncio family, was involved in a controversial issue for evangelicals and became the target of negative comments. In November, Simone celebrated the first same-sex union in the church in which her ex-husband is the leader.
Furthermore, it was a very controversial essay that generated a lot of comments. In short, she appears practically naked with the couple.

2 – Jonathan and Letícia’s betrayal
The great controversy involving the Poncio family began in 2018. At first, Saulo Poncio and Letícia Almeida were dating, and had a daughter named Maria Madalena. So, she was already registered as the couple’s daughter.
However, the Poncio family requested that a DNA test be carried out. Therefore, the test showed that Maria’s father was Jonathan Couto, who was married to Sarah Poncio.
Ultimately, it was proven that there was betrayal on the part of Letícia and Jonathan. Consequently, Saulo and Letícia ended their relationship.
However, Sarah decided to forgive Jonathan and the two remained together. On the other hand, the Portal Uol Source stated that Jonathan does not deny paying child support for his daughter. Since the two do not live together.
Interestingly, Sarah was friends with actress Letícia Almeida. Given this, it was Letícia herself who introduced Jonathan to Sarah. So, during Saulo’s trip to perform, Letícia stayed at her boyfriend’s house.
And while Sarah, who was pregnant with her second child, slept, she had sex with Jonathan. She consequently became pregnant with Madalena, generating all the controversy.
3 – Report of aggression
During the confusion about the baby’s maternity, there was an attack that made the situation even worse. In short, Saulo and Pastor Márcio had a disagreement with Letícia and her father, and were accused of assault. Furthermore, at that time Letícia’s mother went to the pastor’s Instagram to confront him:
“Unfortunately, your truth is not God’s truth, as you insist on preaching. He just physically attacked Letícia and her father and violently snatched Madah from my daughter’s lap” – said Irene Gomes.
Soon, faced with public pressure and at home, Letícia vented on her Instagram about the lack of privacy she was suffering. Furthermore, she revealed that Madah’s father was her ex-brother-in-law, Jonathan Couto. Consequently, the confusion lasted for several months, even turning into a police case.
Well, Letícia made allegations that she had suffered sexual abuse and aggression from Jonathan and his family. However, such abuse was denied by Jonathan, who claims it was a consensual relationship.
“It is true that I succumbed to a moment of fragility and committed an act of infidelity in a consensual sexual relationship with Leticia Almeida, resulting in the birth of my daughter, Maria Madalena…. However, I cannot remain silent in the face of the lies uttered by this lady, without any proof, which has caused me deep discomfort and exhaustion. Although I recognize that I must suffer the consequences of my mistakes, I do not accept the unfair accusations of those who only seek to exempt themselves from any responsibility and take advantage of publicizing their own mistakes” – reported Jonathan.
4 – Saulo Poncio and Gabi Brandt
When Saulo and Letícia ended their relationship, the singer began a relationship with Gabi Brandt, a former participant on “De Férias Com o Ex”. Later, in January 2019, the two got married, and the couple’s first son, Davi, was born in July of the same year.
However, the marriage was quite disturbed. Since Saulo was always accused of cheating on his wife, leaving the Poncio family in the spotlight on social media. Initially, in April 2019, Saulo was photographed with two women on the streets of Florianópolis. Soon, he was accused of cheating on Gabi.
Later, in August, a former receptionist at a hotel in Limeira, Douglas Dias, exposed evidence that would confirm a WhatsApp print. In short, in this print he was telling his friends that Saulo was at the hotel and was cheating on his wife.
Faced with this, Saulo made an angry statement, causing Douglas to be fired. Consequently, Douglas releases images of the musician at the hotel reception with two women, as a way of getting revenge.
Finally, in January 2020, columnist Leo Dias alleged that Saulo cheated on Gabi again. In short, he would have arrived at a nightclub in Búzios, in the Lakes Region of Rio, around four o’clock in the morning.
So, he ended up being caught by fans in a nightclub in an intimate moment with another woman. Furthermore, in the images displayed on the internet, Saulo appears kissing and caressing a woman.
5 – Pontio Family: Josué, Sarah’s adopted son
The Poncio family’s most recent controversy occurred with Sarah’s adopted son, Josué. Initially, Sarah and Jonathan learned the story of a baby in need who lived in Ceará. Therefore, they decided to adopt this boy and named him Joshua. However, they did not complete the legal process.
Later, after the child lived with the Poncios for a year, the biological mother asked for custody of the boy back and got it. Furthermore, during the legal battle, Sarah and Jonathan separated without publicly explaining the reason.
