Where to stay in Porto Seguro: on the beach or in the historic center?

Then it’s from you. Staying on the beach has its advantages, and some of the most popular hotels in Porto Seguro are there, right across the sea.

The center, however, is not that far from it and most of the inns in these regions are within walking distance of the beach.

If you plan to fall on the parties of the alcohol catwalk, this may be a better option for you. There you also find cheaper hotels and hostels than on the waterfront. Even the city’s hostels are concentrated in this region.

Where to stay in Porto Seguro or Arraial?

This choice will also depend a lot on your travel style. Porto Seguro is more city, with more infrastructure, larger hotel chain, more beaches and more bust. Consequently, it is also fuller.

There are also more economical options, which can weigh at the time of the decision.

Arraial is more village, more empty, ideal for those seeking quiet. In the centrinho, there are many restaurants and some nightlife, although smaller than in Porto Seguro. You can still use the village as a base for several tours, such as making a turnaround for Trancoso and Praia do Espelho.

If you have more than four days of travel, a good option is to divide the stay between the two beaches.
