Micellar water
We start by talking about a product that has become a favorite at the moment, the famous micellar water. There are currently several products like this on the market.
It has this name because it is made up of micelles. In short, they are particles that penetrate deeply into the pores and, above all, absorb residues present on the skin. This way, completely cleaning the region.
This is one of the types of makeup removers that generally do not cause reactions, as they do not contain alcohol, dyes, parabens and soap. Finally, they tend to be light, similar to ordinary water.
Among its benefits are: removing up to 98% of makeup; keep the skin hydrated; purify and rebalance the skin; and reduce oiliness.
How do you use them?
If you prefer a towel or tissues, just rub them over your skin. However, if you have opted for liquid or creamy makeup removers, you will already be separating your cotton and some flexible swabs.
Start with the mouth and eyes, applying the product with cotton. In deep areas, such as the corners of the eyes or mouth lines, use sticks moistened with the product.
Then, make horizontal movements on the skin, in order to remove all makeup. And then take another piece of cotton and, this time, make circular movements to ensure that everything comes out perfectly.
Finally, always after removing makeup, it is extremely important to use toners. As they help to close pores and, above all, soften the skin.
