Vinegar Cupcake – Panelaterapia

Vinegar Cupcake

Sweet cakes and pies

I’ve already talked about Luzia here a few times. The “blessed one” who has worked at my parents’ house for about 20 years and cooks amazingly! This is another one of the delights she makes. The name denigrates the image of the cupcake a little, because let’s agree that vinegar is a bad thing, but the flavor has NOTHING like vinegar. It looks like a cake with a biscuit consistency, delicious! It’s very simple to do:

Mix well:
1 ovo
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
2/3 cup (the cream cheese kind) of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Flour until smooth (300 to 500g more or less)

Dough is ready, now you sprinkle a surface with wheat flour, make snakes and cut. Like gnocchi, manja? But the cool thing is to make thin snakes (thinner than 1 finger) and cut small pieces because when fried it doubles in size. If you make it too big it won’t get crispy.

Fry in small portions in the hot oil, remove with a slotted spoon and place in a deep container with sugar and cinnamon. Let cool and store in a covered container. It lasts up to 1 week, but it always ends sooner hehehe.
Have you seen the potato chips that Luzia makes?
