Vanilla Pudding – Panelaterapia

Vanilla Pudding

Sweet cakes and pies

Before sharing this delicious recipe, let me thank the beautiful people who are helping the TTERÊ Center so much by contributing to the “Vakinha” that Panelaterapia organized. We have already raised more than 20% of the goal, but still not many people! Come on guys, they need us! Click here to learn more: http://bit.ly/1b3tWEA

Now the recipe: I decided to use the petit gateau molds to make individual puddings. It’s a regular condensed milk pudding, the only difference is that I added a vanilla bean that I got from a friend, just to give it more flavor. It was delicious!!!

First I made the caramel and spread it in the molds. I confess that it wasn’t very easy because they got hot quickly and it was difficult to hold. If you don’t know how to make caramel, click here: http://www.panelaterapia.com/2010/11/como-fazer-calda-de-pudim.html

I brought 1 and a half cups of milk to the boil with the vanilla bean split in half. As soon as it boiled I turned it off and let it cool. I removed the fava and mixed 1 can of condensed milk and 3 eggs and blended with the mixer (you can use a blender).

I filled the molds until they were almost full and put them in the oven at 180º in a bain-marie until they were firm. About 25 minutes. If you like pudding without holes, you have to bake it at a very low temperature and covered with aluminum (I finally discovered that it is the boiling and rapid cooking that forms the holes)! Makes 6 units.
